Rough Waters

Rough Waters was from my Global Game Jam 2017 experience. After some technical diffuclty I ended up working alone and creating this concept. I did not complete the project (as most games during GGJ do not) but plan to add and develop the project further.

What was finished was the weather system and particles, as well as the boat maneuvering and floating.

You are a coast gaurd ship from the 1950's trying to brave the rough waters and hurdle over the bar to save a ship. This lane based game pits you against the rough costal waters and you have to out manevuer the 2 lanes of waves coming at you. plow through smaller waves at little health cost, but beware the large waves that can topple your ship, while you prepare you skill for breaking the bar.
